Community Guidelines
As a member of the This World Outside community please follow the Community Guidelines outlined below. As a user of This World Outside you are also bound by This World Outside’s Terms of Use.
Things to do:
1. Share your own recipes and your food-related photos.
This World Outside is a place where you can share your recipe ideas, food related photos and comments with a global community of people who share the same interest in cooking and food. Please only upload your own recipes and photos to This World Outside and not somebody else’s. Only upload recipes and photos that you own the copyright to.
2. Please keep it clean
The This World Outside community includes adults and children as young as 13 years old, from diverse backgrounds all around the world. Please make sure that the content you upload to This World Outside’s platforms as text, photos or other material is appropriate for all those involved. Please do not upload images that include nudity, or use offensive language or immature content of any kind.
3. Be authentic.
This World Outside is a place for individuals to share recipe ideas and be inspired, with no agenda other than joining the food conversation. It isn’t the place for users to promote commercial products or services.
5. Join in.
This World Outside allows you to share your food ideas with a global community. See how other users in other countries like your own recipe and be inspired to try some new recipes that you discover through This World Outside. Most importantly, just enjoy connecting with other foodies!
6. Be careful.
Take care when cooking another user’s recipe as we can’t legislate for whether it works or is safe to eat. All recipes published by This World Outside have however been developed and tested by the This World Outside team. Be careful when cooking and make sure to follow all normal hygiene and safety precautions. In particular be careful with knives and heat! And remember your own allergies and those of your dinner guests before getting too adventurous!
Things to avoid doing:
1. Don’t upload recipes or photos or posts that belong to someone else.
Users who upload other people’s materials will have their This World Outside account disabled and your This World Outside access may be terminated.
2. Don’t upload recipes, photos or other materials that include nudity, violence or inappropriate content of an adult nature.
Users who upload inappropriate content of this nature will have their This World Outside account disabled and your This World Outside access may be terminated.
3. Don’t upload illegal content.
Users who upload illegal content will have their This World Outside account disabled and your This World Outside access may be terminated. Users may also be reported to the appropriate authorities.
4. Don’t upload harmful recipes.
Users should not upload recipes, recipe suggestions or cooking techniques that knowingly cause harm or might be dangerous. Users who upload such content will have their This World Outside account disabled and your This World Outside access may be terminated. Users may also be reported to the appropriate authorities.
5. Don’t spam This World Outside or other users.
Please avoid selling to or stalking other users. This World Outside is keen to protect the enjoyment of its genuine users and user accounts will be disabled if those accounts are being misused for commercial purposes, self-promotion or nuisance.
6. Don’t be a troll.
We are determined that users within the This World Outside community enjoy each other’s contribution to the food conversation. It should be fun! To keep it that way, please do not offend, curse, hassle or abuse other users. Users reported for such activity may have their This World Outside account disabled and their This World Outside access may be terminated.

If you are unsure about the content, you can report it by using the ‘report as inappropriate’ button, and This World Outside will review the content.
